To the loyal audience members, exceptional guest speakers, and selfless volunteers whose efforts helped us maintain a seven-decade tradition of helping area communicators thrive, we have sad news to confirm: The Communicators Club as it existed since the 2012 merger of the Society of Professional Communicators and AdClub of Greater Worcester has disbanded.
The Board of Directors has notified all stakeholders, including state and federal authorities, and followed the proper protocols for dissolution.
Our website will remain online for the time being.
Down the line, a possible successor with a streamlined mission is being considered by one of the club’s longtime volunteers. As a legal matter, any new entity will carry no ties to the original, now-defunct organization. Stay tuned as that concept is considered.
Once again, we offer a humble “thank you” to all who’ve had a hand in The Communicators Club and its antecedents’ longevity and success. The memories, camaraderie, and personal connections will always be with us.
