McCarthy’s ‘Three Trends & 12 Tactics’ keeps PR ahead of the chaotic curve

Please note: This event marked the final presentation of The Communicators Club prior to its December 2023 disbandment.

Colloquially known as an “image shaper,” Public Relations done well powers brands forward. But with the ascendance of AI, gutting of newsroom staffs and emergence of citizen journalism, PR must meet the turbulent moment.

How can communications professionals identify opportunities and improve their organizations’ positions amid the flux? Hilary McCarthy, PR and Content Director at Holden, Mass.-based Clearpoint Agency, will explore what she considers the three landscape-altering PR trends in a virtual presentation set for Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Our guest speaker boasts 20-plus years of experience in media/analyst relations, marketing, content, and crisis communications strategy.

Hilary’s talk, “Three Trends & 12 Tactics: Leveraging PR in a Rapidly Evolving Industry,” will emphasize strategies both new, and tried and true, used by thought leaders to elevate brand perception. Attendees will learn what’s required to keep pace with communications’ ongoing upheaval in this timely presentation.

The Zoom-based event runs from noon to 1:15 p.m. A $10 fee will be charged for TCC non-members.

Hilary’s TCC discussion marks a return appearance. In January 2019, she offered an informative presentation covering “Five Trends in PR in the New Year.”
